The European manicure, also called a Ukrainian manicure, uses a specialized technique and tools for the cuticles. It is an e-file manicure, also known as an electric file or combined manicure.

How the cuticle is cleaned

- Instead of traditional nippers, an electronic nail drill with a small e-file headpiece removes excess skin around the nail bed.
  - A couple of different electric file bits are used, which is especially helpful for problematic cuticles.
  - Nails are trimmed and smooth around the edges, so polish can sit seamlessly.

Once you try a European manicure, the difference is how easy and safe it is to clean the cuticle without the nicks from a nipper. This is not a typical salon manicure, where you barely notice a change afterward.

An e-file manicure takes time, so each step can be done safely and carefully and your nails look their best.
