The European manicure, also known as e-file, electric file, or combined manicure, uses a unique technique and specialized tools for the cuticles.

E-file, not nippers

Instead of traditional nippers, an electronic nail drill with a small e-file headpiece removes excess skin around the nail bed.

A few different bits

A couple of different electric file bits are used, which is especially helpful for problematic cuticles.

Smooth around the edges

Nails are trimmed and smooth around the edges, so polish can sit seamlessly.
